Nico Palacios

I'm Nico Palacios, born in Buenos Aires, and I spent unforgettable summers in Uruguay during my childhood. As I loved fishing, I would befriend local fishermen who would end up inviting me to their favorite spots, their homes, fields, secret streams, etc.

I'm moved by this country's folklore, I know it well. I feel very comfortable wherever I am, whether in a ranch with little food or among the sumptuousness of a palace. I was always very spoiled, I think I still am, and by fate's twists I ended up living much of my life among private planes, chauffeurs, high society, visiting many incredible places and properties around the world.

My sensitivity always pulled me to understand and embrace that B-side, I enjoy that necessary balance. I quickly go from a 2009 Bourgogne wine by Armand Rousseau to boxed wine and vice versa.

In 1999, at 25 years old, I retired the spoiled child and chose to live in Uruguay. I started with restaurants - today I still have one, Fish Market Manantiales - but friends, acquaintances and relatives were already asking me to help them find their dream property throughout the country, a task that gave me immense pleasure.

From now on, I take that passion to a professional level. As Property Hunter - or Better Call Nico, as some people call me - I put all my sensitivity, geographic, social and aesthetic experience at the client's disposal to find their dream place.
